The Guardian Circle is an integral part of Rocky Mountain Arts Association (RMAA), without which the music and messages of social justice could not be delivered to our communities through our member choruses, Denver Gay Men’s Chorus (DGMC) and Denver Women’s Chorus (DWC). Our Guardian Circle members care deeply about, and understand the importance of, chorus in the LGBTQ+ community and how they can impact the broader dialogue on LGBTQ+ issues and those of other marginalized communities. Our Guardians stand with us for equality and respect because of the beauty of our differences, the familiarity of our likenesses, and their commitment to a more peaceful and inclusive world.

Guardian Circle supporters are a part of our extended family receiving exclusive benefits, including free tickets to performances, invitations to member only-events, such as our signature season reveal wine tasting, a quarterly newsletter, and recognition in programs and RMAA’s annual report. At the Silver and Gold Level, guardians gain entry to our VIP area hosting snacks and beverages (wine, beer, and soda) at designated performances.

RMAA ticket sales cover 40% of our annual costs. Guardian contributions directly support artistic and operational staff and overhead, and, most importantly, our mission of building community through music.

Choruses strengthen the feeling of belonging, reduce stress and depression for both participants and audience members, and bridge social gaps making both singers and listeners more aware of other people’s life experiences.

When you become a Guardian Circle supporter, you make it possible for RMAA and its member choruses to the following:

  • Reach people who wouldn’t otherwise have any contact with the gay community.
  • Replace old stereotypes with positive images and messages.
  • Tell our stories to counter misinformation and express our common humanity through music.
  • Maintain and grow our presence in the LGBTQ+ and broader community
  • Ensure a future of financial security and longevity for the generations to come.

In a world that seems more polarized than ever before, the existence of our choruses and the work we do is even more important. Please join our circle of Guardians today.

You can designate your Guardian Circle giving to the Denver Women’s Chorus, the Denver Gay Men’s Chorus, or to Rocky Mountain Arts Association.

The Guardian Circle monthly giving program was initiated by former Rocky Mountain Arts Association (RMAA) Executive Director Eve Campbell, who describes this group of dedicated supporters as “the good people who put their arms around Rocky Mountain Arts Association to protect and uphold the mission of the organization. These are the people who go above and beyond the average individual’s participation to ensure financial stability and success.”
